Outstanding Real Estate Values....

The value of PEI’s real estate is in the early stages of significant change. This change is being stimulated in part by the opening in 1997 of the 8 mile long Confederation Bridge connecting PEI to the mainland of North America (New Brunswick), and a significant investment by the Canadian government in tourism, particularly through the development of quality golf courses, completion of the Confederation (walking and bicycling) Trail, and expansion of the National Park System.

Some people say PEI is like a cross between Nantucket, MA and Southampton, LI, NY in the 1950’s, with the potato fields extending down to the sea and the many fishing villages and lighthouses. Real estate values were effectively frozen in time until the Bridge was built, and now PEI is beginning to be recognized for the gem that it is.
